After our weekly meeting today, the most important News for our users first: We are planing to get a new release out of the door so you can see all the shiny new features we have implemented since the 2009.0 Milestone Release (that is, if you are not running our automated Snapshots).

The current plan is to get it out in late June / early July so there is some time left right now and a lot to do.

One of the big new features you'll find in 2009.1 will be the new user interface designed for a better look and improved usability. This feature is even nearly ready right now, thanks to kaschte for his work there! But there's a lot of other interesting stuff as well so watch out for nice surprises.

As this will be the first Milestone Release with working translations we are still hoping to get as many different languages supported as possible. So if your native tongue is not yet available for Unknown Horizons (check this at our Translator's Guide) please consider contributing, it's plain simple.
